Instructions for the Twisted Bun:

1. Start with making sure the hair is prepped and textured, you can also tease and spray. Split your hair into two sections.

2. Tie the two sections into a knot. (like the first step in tying your shoes)

3. On the last photo, see how the left section is directed to the right and down? Pin about 3 bobby pins to secure it, especially towards the ends. Then take the right section and twist and direct it up and to the left. Pin that down. Take a few more bobby pins and start pinning around the bun to secure a little extra. Spray and pull some whispy’s around the face!
This a really really easy and wont take too much of your time. This is ideal for that 2nd or 3rd day and when you’re hair has that dirty grit and is moldable. Also- don’t forget to tease the crown to have a good shape on your do!

Full, Lush Lashes | How do you amp up your lashes to get major drama?

Full, never-ending, skyscraping…all words we’d like to describe our lashes (and our beauty budgets, but that’s another story). Unfortunately, not all of us were blessed with lashes that live up to that description – that’s what falsies were invented for, after all. But no matter how much we love a fluttery false fringe, they’re usually reserved for special occasions. Lucky for us, YouTube beauty guru Charis is here to show us achieve full, lush lashes without falsies – all you need is mascara, an eyelash curler and loose powder. Watch the video below to see how takes her lashes to new heights.

Morning beauties! Here is yesterday's look I wanted to create a more wearable Bridal Smokey eye look. Here is what I came up with I hope you like it!

Step 1 and 2. Bronze shadow works for every eye color. Press a medium bronze shadow from lash line to crease and softly blend the edges. Then, apply the same color underneath the lash line in a thick swipe.

Step 3 and 4. Eyeshadows stay longer when applied with a damp brush. Dampen an eyeliner brush to apply a brown shadow liner and blend upward. Then, use the same brown shadow underneath the lash line in a thin swipe.

Step 5 and 6. Make your eyes pop. Darken the lash line more with a black shadow liner and blend upward using the same damp brush. Be sure to do the same on the underneath lash line.

Step 7. Lightly add a shimmery shadow. Dab a copper shadow, a few shades lighter than the bronze one, across the lid to soften the look and add dimension.

Step 8. Very lightly trace your eye and blend in matte shadow. Outline the existing shadow with a matte brown one starting from the inner corner going all the way around the entire eye. This creates more depth and really plays up the smokiness of the look.

Step 9. Highlight the inner corner of your eye. Apply Make Up For Ever 7K Metal Gold Kohl Pencil ($17; makeupforever.com) just inside the matte brown shadow on the inner corner of the eye for contrast.

Step 10. Apply two coats of your favorite black mascara.
